1st and 2nd class had great fun investigating extreme forms of weather (tornadoes and earthquakes) during stem week.

A sincere and heart felt thank you to everyone that bought raffle tickets or sponsored prizes at the Christmas Show. We used the proceeds to buy much needed library books and resources. We also purchased lots of Maths equipment to enable us to make our numeracy lessons more interactive and interesting. A huge thank you from the pupils and staff of Cross N.S.

The School Active Committee were delighted with the delivery of PE and yard equipment we received today. The Cross Community Group, TP Reilly and our Parents Association applied for a grant that financed all the lovely playground and yard resources. The pupils of Cross N.S. will have lots of fun in the sun.

We are so proud of our Girls Football team and their coaches Ms Hynds and Ms Gilsenan. They battled their way through to a Cuman na mBunscol final and we wish them all the very best of luck as they prepare for the county final in Breffni Park, which will take place between the 10th-14th of June.

Some of our cool and confident 6th class pupils model their new Cross hoodies. A big thank you to the PA for organising these special gifts and also to you, the parents and community, for supporting the school fundraising events which enable us to make these purchases.

Our 6th class pupils were confirmed by Bishop Martin Hayes on the 12th of April 2024. They all spoke so well, carried out their roles excellently and looked so trendy. There were many celebratory meals and parties held in Cross that weekend to mark this special event.
Each class is doing tremendous work visiting lotas of destinations in our Run Around Europe. The km score for each class has been amazing. One more week to go so lets give it a really big effort!!
