Active Home Week

Hi all,
Hope you are all keeping well and making the most of this beautiful weather.
We had planned our Active Schools Week this year to take place the week of 1st June.
We had so many fantastic activities planned. Unfortunately this can not go ahead. Instead we are asking pupils to engage with 'Active Home Week' for 2 weeks commencing on Tuesday 2nd June.
The aim of Active Home Week is for pupils to complete 60 minutes of any form of physical activity each day and record this onto the challenge cards.
On the Active Schools Flag website there are challenge cards for pupils to use as a guide to record their activities throughout the 2 weeks. Parents are welcome to take a photo of the completed challenge cards and e-mail them to their teacher. (www.activeschoolflag.ie and click on Active Home Week)
We would love to see photos of you Active Home Week activities which we can display on our website. Please e-mail these to olivia.hynds@crossreaghns.com
Physical activities can include playing a game, learning a new skill, online exercise, walking etc.
Active Week
During the 3rd school term each year we hold an Active Schools Week. The whole school is split into teams where they must work together to complete many tasks and challenges. It is extremely enjoyable and inclusive for all the pupils.
This is our timetable of events for Active Schools Week. Please complete the active homework and send in some photos.
