Boys Football Final
We would like to wish our boys team the best of luck in the upcoming Cumann Na mBunscol Final on Wednesday 3rd June in Breffni Park at 6:15pm.
1st and 2nd class created these super player profiles for the team.
3D shape Construction
3rd and 4th class had great fun constructing 3D shapes using marshmallows and matchsticks.
Draughts Success at Ulster Community Games
A big well done to the U10 and U14 Draughts teams who both came second place in the Ulster competition. A fantastic achievement in their first year entering. Thank you to coaches Lisa Nolan and James Mc Kenna.
Gymnastics
3rd and 4th class enjoyed our 7 week block of gymnastics in the hall.
Raffle Winners 2024
We had such an exciting afternoon at the School Raffle yesterday and the children really rose to the occasion by picking out the prizes for each winner from the hat and adding the drum rolls for effect.
The list of winners and prizes are attached below and prizes will be distributed over the coming days.
A huge thank you to the PA for organising this, our wonderful and amazing sponsors for donating the prizes and thanks also to each and every one of you for supporting this so generously.
The incredible sum of €4,025 was raised. This illustrates what an amazing school and extended community we have here in Cross !
Class Activities
3rd and 4th class have been very busy learning about the countries of Europe through our Blue Star programme.
The Agri aware programme has been another enjoyable programme for 3rd and 4th as we learn about farmers from 6 different locations in Ireland.

Stem in 3rd and 4th
The children in 3rd and 4th class have been embracing our "Stem Week". The children built bridges out of recyclable material and created short videos on Scratch.
