We had a fun packed assembly for Seachtain na Gaeilge on Friday 15th March. Each class contributed to this assembly with some individuals sharing musical instruments and dancing. Well done to all involved.

Each class is doing tremendous work visiting lotas of destinations in our Run Around Europe. The km score for each class has been amazing. One more week to go so lets give it a really big effort!!

Classes 3rd to 6th have finished their football training with Ollie from Cavan GAA.
Each class in our school enjoyed the 4-6 week training programme and we look forward to hopefully continuing this next year.

3rd and 4th class have been busy during Seachtain na Gaeilge learning a traditional Irish. The short video shows the hard work they have been putting into our term of Dance.
Now the weather has improved the Active Walkway is getting plenty of use by all the class.

Our new Active walkway signs are now up. We will have lots of fun in term 3 completing many treasure hunts and trails.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers of Cross NS
From All of Us in 3rd and 4th class
A huge thank you to Cavan Eagles who very kindly donated a bag of basketballs to our school. This kind donation was greatly accepted by Stephen Duffy on our behalf.
Well done to Aíne Doughty who was awarded "Player of the Year" with Kells Celtic Football Club. She had a great season with them playing for both the U12 and U14 teams.
