Music Demonstration
Thank you to Shane Farrelly from Bailieborough School of Music for bringing in many of his instruments to demonstrate to the children of Cross. It was a fun filled afternoon.
Active Week 2025
The children of Cross School had another successful Active week. Klasskicks and Skip n' rope provided each class with demonstrations. The Crystal Maze was the ideal school tour for all classes and we had 3 great winning teams of our annual Active Week activities. Final the children took part in a sponsored walk down the Hallow Lane. Well done to all!!!
Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny arrived to Cross School today. The children all enjoyed their egg hunt and were rewarded with buns a drink and an Easter Egg.

Best Of Luck Ms Gilsenan
WE would like to wish Ms Gilsenan and the Cavan Ladies Team the best of luck in their division 3 football final this Sunday.
Draughts Success at Ulster Community Games
A big well done to the U10 and U14 Draughts teams who both came second place in the Ulster competition. A fantastic achievement in their first year entering. Thank you to coaches Lisa Nolan and James Mc Kenna.
Handball
Congratulations to these two 5th class boys who represented Cross school at the Cumann na mBunscoil handball competition in Kingscourt. This was our first time entering this competition and I hope it wont be our last!
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Our Seachtain na Gaeilge assembly was a great success with fabulous singing, tin whistle and dancing on display. Well done to all the classes.
World Book Day
Thank you to Leona Mc Donnell for coming to Cross NS on World Book Day.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their mindfulness sessions and learnt a lot for Leona.
