The Cross Country Running Competition was a fantastic day all round, the weather stayed dry and over 1200 children from across the county of Cavan competed.
In total, Crossreagh NS had 23 runners, each one doing the school proud and running to the absolute best of their ability.
We had some very high place finishes across all races we competed in, Ciara & Rúan both placing 29th individually in the Intermediate & senior race was excellent. Special mention has to go to our two medalists, Shay who absolutely stormed home to win 1st place in the Junior Boys 600m, In a field of 250 boys this is a phenomenal achievement and our second medalist Aodhán who came 8th in the same race.
Thanks Michelle Carolan for all her help training and organising the team. Thanks also to the parents who brought their child on the day. Well done everyone!
